On February 27, 2012, Paul Siker will be delivering a presentation entitled, “You Are What They Think You Are: Optimizing The Candidate Experience in 7 Easy Steps,” to members of the National Association of Health Care Recruitment in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The program will focus on the role that recruiters play as “front-line corporate evangelists,” and will highlight the reality that recruiters, and the hiring authorities they support, have a profound ability to favorably (or unfavorably) shape or influence how a candidate views or regards an employer. As Paul notes, “A recruiter’s engagement and communication skills, institutional and domain knowledge, and ability to effectively qualify, advise and advance the candidacy of talented applicants are all essential in competitive market sectors and position categories.” “You Are What They Think You Are: Optimizing The Candidate Experience in 7 Easy Steps,” presents straightforward concepts that recruiters and recruiting functions can deploy immediately to make positive and lasting impressions on prospective and active candidates.
